Nature Hike

On a Sunday morning at 10AM, we set out on a mini hike. Today's theme was about being thankful for everything. We were thankful for the trees, the grass, the blue sky, and even our bugs and living creatures around us. During our 45 minutes in nature, we tried to tell the difference between man made sounds and natural sounds. We tried to count to 15 without talking and just only listening. We heard birds and airplanes, plus a dog panting. At the end of the hike, we picked up our own short stick and wrapped it in yarn. The stick became anything our imagination wanted it to be.
